Hogwarts Legacy may have been out for almost two years but that doesn’t mean that we have discovered all there is to know about its magical setting.

First released in February 2023, Hogwarts Legacy received a positive reception in its first year with it even becoming the best-selling game of the year.

Check out the most recent update for Hogwarts Legacy below!

Despite missing out on Game of the Year, it was a solid contender with fans praising its combat, world design and characters.

However, with others criticising its lack of innovation for an open-world RPG, it didn’t maintain a solid player-base for long and so its longevity took a massive knock.

That being said, Harry Potter fans are still flocking to Hogwarts Legacy almost two-years on, especially earlier this year thanks to the summer update.

As a result, there are still secrets being discovered in the Avalanche Software title, including one which was found just recently.

“I figured out how to tell time,” posted one user over on r/HarryPotterGame.

Up until now, being able to find out the time in Hogwarts and surrounding areas has been pretty much impossible, which can be a problem if you need to do quests during the day or night.

However, this user has discovered an easy way of telling the time and we can’t believe we didn’t know this sooner.

All you have to do is head to Menu > Photo Mode and then scroll down to see the time which will be displayed in military hours.

Although it is a bit of a faff to go to this much effort, it is better than nothing.

With other users calling the original poster a GOAT and admitting they were not aware of this feature, it just goes to show how much more there is to discover in-game.
