Back in May, Rockstar not only released our second official look at Grand Theft Auto VI with a brand-new trailer, but it also shed some light on the characters we would be meeting in the highly-anticipated title.
Alongside the internet-breaking cinematic trailer released earlier this year, Rockstar also surprised fans with a brand-new website dedicated to all things Grand Theft Auto VI.
Complete with fancy graphics and an unruly scroll bar, the website showcases everything that we already know about the game: its setting, characters, locations, and more.
However, there is one character that has caught fan’s attention as many believe he may just be GTA VI’s big bad villain.

We already know that our protagonists Jason and Lucia will be embarking on a Bonnie and Clyde-esque adventure across Vice City and surrounding areas but as all Grand Theft Auto fans know, the secondary cast are just as important.
As well as Jason’s friend Cal Hampton, real estate mogul Boobie Ike, and small-time recording artist Dre’Quan Priest, a character known as Brian Heder will also play a large role.
Operating a long-time drug operation in Leonida Keys and working out of his boat yard, Brian leaves all of the dirty work to his associates and takes more of a back seat in recent years.
One associate in question just so happens to be Jason himself.

Not only that but another key piece of information about Brian is that he is on his third wife so who knows what happened to the previous Mrs Heders.
Not much else has been revealed about Brian other than the brief moments that he appears in the cinematic trailer but that has not stopped fans from speculating.
That is definitely the case for user BubbyPower over on r/GTA6.
“Brian will be the next Dutch,” they shared.

“Dutch” is, of course, referring to another of Rockstar’s characters, Dutch van der Linde from Red Dead Redemption 2 - who, despite acting as a father figure to protagonist Arthur, still has a dark side.
“He will be the father figure to Jason who betrays him in the end,” the post continues.
Of course, this is just speculation but it seems as though fellow fans have been debating whether or not this will happen throughout the events of GTA VI.
“I also had this thought, but I don’t think he will be the one to betray us. I think Raul Bautista and Boobie Ike are much more likely to have that role,” the top comment reads.

Another user seems to have thought about this in quite some depth.
“I think Brian will be the voice of reason throughout the game and tries to stop Jason from getting in too deep but Jason sees this as Brian holding him back and they fall out,” they shared.
“But then they reconcile towards the end of the game when Jason realises Brian was just looking out for him. That's my prediction anyway, could most likely be 100% wrong.”
It remains to be seen if there will be another big betrayal in Grand Theft Auto VI and luckily, we have just a few months left until we find out.
