Just in case you were feeling a little starved for GTA 6 info, a new gameplay leak has surfaced giving us new information about the upcoming open world game.
With GTA 6 just under 11 months away, we’re obviously all still waiting for Rockstar Games to drop the third trailer.
It’ll probably still be a while until we get to see Trailer 3, but a recent leak has surfaced which gives us a little more information about how the game will play.
These details came in June from X (formerly Twitter) account GameRoll (via The Game Post), who claims that GTA 6 will have three different modes, one where you play as Jason, one as Lucia, and one where you play as both.

GameRoll also suggests there will be five story chapters, and has over 700 stores you can enter and rob.
This also apparently includes shopping malls, which aren’t just decorative but can also be shopped at.
The leaker also suggests that dual-wielding, dynamic cover systems, and going prone have been scrapped, because the features were “complete a** so it’s good they cut it.”
To lend credence to this report, GameRoll leaked the names Lucia and Jason prior to the official reveal by Rockstar. So, that adds some degree of credibility to this new leak.

Still, it’s best to take it all with a pinch of salt.
We’re still just under 11 months away from being able to play GTA 6, so there’ll no doubt be all sorts of new rumours and leaks coming in the build up to launch.
At the end of the day, it’s best to just sit tight and wait for Rockstar to officially announce what it plans to announce.
GTA 6 will launch for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S on 26th May, 2026.
