GTA 6 trailer 2 is being roundly roasted by frustrated fans

It'll come, eventually

Grand Theft Auto fans should be commended for their patience.

And I don’t simply mean that in reference to the fact that the franchise’s previous entry, GTA V, dropped 12 years ago.

I’m angling more at Rockstar Games’ reluctance to drop GTA VI’s second trailer.

When that GTA VI reveal trailer initially landed on 5 December 2023, it dazzled us all; so much so, that fans still avidly discuss its contents today.

At that point in time though, I don’t think any of us thought we’d be sitting here in 2025 none the wiser as to what else we might be able to expect from GTA VI.

There’s been no second trailer, no screenshots, no gameplay feature teases … just silence.

Well, there’s been the assurance that the game is still on track to release this coming fall / autumn, although you wouldn't think so based on the lack of marketing to date.

Take-Two Interactive’s recent earnings call didn’t prove to be particularly fruitful so I’m not too sure what we’re clowning for next.

Summer Game Fest? The May earnings call? A random Tuesday?

In the meantime, fans are roasting Rockstar for the patience they demand of fans.

Sorry folks, you’re going to have to watch the reveal trailer again.

We’ve all joked about how old we’ll be when GTA VI finally releases.

‘Going to be playing GTA VI in the nursing home,’ is the kind of thing I’m referring to.

Well, times have somewhat changed. That brand of humour is now being applied to the game’s second trailer.

“It really do be like that,” wrote Reddit user ConferenceSea5477, using a picture of a visibly aged Lucia in reference to the game’s second trailer.

“We’ll all be looking like Michael before the second trailer is released,” added Official-HiredFun9.

“It's f**king annoying at this point,” replied a frustrated PuzzleheadedMight125.

“To think that last year we didn't have any official news is insane,” said cocacola_drinker.

We’re on the homestretch, my friends. Stay strong.
