GTA 6 trailer 2 has losing their minds all over again

This time next year, we will all hopefully be well into our Grand Theft Auto VI playthroughs but for now, we are back to convincing ourselves that the second official trailer is just around the corner.

Surely it is, right?

Well, according to some fans, it definitely is with 1 April being the latest rumour across social media.

It definitely wouldn’t be past Rockstar to release the highly-anticipated trailer on April Fool’s Day but one fan took to r/GTA6 to share all the reasons this date would actually make sense.

Their reasoning includes the fact that Rockstar often releases trailers six months before the game is released and with Grand Theft Auto VI expected to launch in fall 2025, this time frame would add up.

They also draw attention to the fact that “reliable sources” claimed that the trailer would be released between late March and early April.

Last but not least, they mention the Grand Theft Auto Online t-shirt that correctly marked the date of the first official trailer launch and has since featured another date, and as you can guess, it is 1 April, 2025.

“Also, even though Rockstar is good at making jokes like this, I feel like this time they are going to be real about it,” they continued. "The date, April 1, is going to just make people get scared away and think that it won’t happen because of it being April Fool’s Day.”

Of course, neither Rockstar or Take-Two has confirmed this but it wasn’t long before fellow fans weighed in with their thoughts.

“I'd rather they just dropped the trailer out of nowhere, it's better that way,” user Heathy94 wrote.

ZooBot23 joked, “It would be legendary, 'Hey, Man, the second GTA trailer is out!' 'Oh yeah? April's Fools, right? Nice try, Jerk.' 'Hahaha, no just watch this video'.”

It remains to be seen if this latest guess is correct but for now, all we can do is wait.
