It seems as though the second official Grand Theft Auto VI trailer may never arrive, especially considering it has been well over a year since we received the first one.

However, fans are not giving up and more recently, they have turned their attention to an item of clothing found in Grand Theft Auto Online for possible clues.

Check out the first official GTA VI trailer below!

The first official trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI was released back in December 2023 and finally confirmed what we already knew and that was that we would be returning to Vice City and taking on the roles of both Jason and Lucia in a Bonnie and Clyde-esque adventure.

However, since then, Rockstar has hidden itself away to work on the game and despite confirmation from Take-Two that the highly-anticipated title is still on track for a Fall 2025 release, fans are still waiting for the second trailer.

Luckily for them, it may just be around the corner. Well, that is if you believe that Rockstar has hidden the release date on a t-shirt found within Grand Theft Auto Online.

Posted to Grand Theft Auto 6 Alerts on Twitter, the clothing in question is the ‘One Day Will Reveal All’ t-shirt which accurately hinted at the release date for the first trailer almost two years ago.

On the shirt, the numbers 040125 can also be seen, which in a date format, could hint at the second trailer releasing on 1 April, 2025.

If this is true, we could see it in a matter of weeks and it would be very fitting for Rockstar to release the trailer on April Fool’s Day.

For one Twitter user, this discovery would make sense.

“This code was written in a specific way on purpose and was not 100% randomized,” they shared.

“So technically you cannot say with 100% certainty that this April date means nothing.

People thought the shirt in general meant nothing back then and they were wrong. April is when marketing starts.”

Another said, “This the best theory yet, in my opinion.”

Of course, this has not been confirmed by either Rockstar or Take-Two so take this news with a pinch of salt.

However, with GTA VI expected to launch later this year, time is indeed running out for the second trailer.
