GTA VI fans have received an update that will be music to their ears, and hopefully, this report proves to be true.
Without a doubt, the next entry of Rockstar Games’ Grand Theft Auto is going to take over the internet when it releases next year. Heck, it’s probably fair to say that GTA VI has already taken over the internet long ago.
GTA VI was first revealed by Rockstar Games in December 2023 with a tentative launch window of late 2025. However, earlier this year, it was announced that GTA VI is being pushed back to 2026.
Fans of Rockstar Games know that the studio delays the release of most of its games, and to be fair, the studio tends to make the most out of the extra development time, which is why the likes of the GTA and Red Dead Redemption series knock it out of the park.

With that in mind, as reported by Comicbook.com (via GTA 6 Countdown), Rockstar Games is currently looking to hire employees on 12-month contracts to translate the language in GTA VI into multiple lingo’s outside of English.
While this is by no means confirmation that GTA VI isn't getting another delay, it might suggest that its development is nearing its end and its current release date is looking locked in.

It’s also worth keeping in mind that there is still a possibility that some of the languages featured in the tweet above might be added to the game via a post-launch update, or, god forbid, it does suffer at least one more small delay.
We can only speculate at this time, and all rumours should be taken with a pinch of salt until proven otherwise. When we learn more, we’ll update you ASAP.
Grand Theft Auto VI is currently scheduled to be released on 26 May 2026 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
