Can you believe that next month marks the one year anniversary of Grand Theft Auto VI’s launch trailer?

It was in December of 2023 that Rockstar Games finally decided to lift the lid on the highly anticipated project.

It’s simply a shame that that lid has remained firmly shut ever since.

Rockstar did surface in the summer to narrow down GTA VI’s release window from 2025 to fall 2025, but we’re yet to receive anything in the way of a gameplay reveal.

Needless to say, fans are yearning for something new, whether that be gameplay or a simple series of screenshots.

Theories are rife with many believing that Rockstar is planning a second reveal for next month.

In the meantime though, some fans have taken to recombing through footage that surfaced online during the major leak that took place in 2022.

It’s a desperate measure, that’s for sure, but some interesting tidbits have been uncovered.

Take a look at GTA VI’s original trailer below.

Tidbits may actually be too light of a word, as Reddit user Denso95 shared over 50 unique details they spotted in the leaked gameplay footage in a thread.

For example, Denso95 uncovered that there’s a gang called ‘Guardia’, and stumbled upon a long list of so-called ambient events.

One such event, labelled ‘PghStripClub2 Construction’, will likely see a strip club built over time suggesting that Vice City will change and develop throughout our playthrough.

Admittedly, many of these discoveries are more mundane.

The user lists that UFOs are back, plus there’ll be massage parlours, bingo places, and hotels - none of which are really a surprise.

Alligators are said to hunt other animals, Bigfoot is possibly set to make a return, missing person posters are labelled as ‘secrets’, plus there’s a place called Swamp Safari Crazy Golf.

“Torture is back and it’s happening in a warehouse,” the user wrote … so it doesn’t sound as if GTA VI is going to be any less controversial than GTA V.

An event line was also uncovered called ‘Strange Animal Deaths’.

Port Gelhorn will be a second city, according to this user, with Miami Keys also confirmed as a location.

There are mentions of an underwater research facility, a fairyland forest puzzle, island camps, and a space centre.

Of course, I have to remind you to take all of this with a pinch of salt until these things are confirmed by Rockstar.

If the above leaks are accurate though, it sounds as if the studio has created another banger - packed with detail that we’ll be discovering for years to come.
