Sick of waiting for Rockstar Games to release the trailer for the next GTA? Well, worry not, because you can buy Grand Theft Auto VI right now.
I’m serious, you can get your hands on a game called “Grand Theft Auto VI” right this second… only issue is it’s on the PlayStation 2.
Alright so if it wasn’t already clear, I’m not referring to that version of Grand Theft Auto VI. I’m actually talking about a bootleg version of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City that someone has modded to include GTA VI’s protagonists Lucia and Jason, and then ported to the PlayStation 2.

The mod for Vice City has been making the rounds for a while now, but now it’s crossed the legal threshold and somehow landed up on a Turkish website as a PlayStation 2 game.

The funny thing is, this has actually been around for a while - it just seems that some folks online have only just decided to repackage the mod and distribute it as a PlayStation 2 game.

YouTuber Escuadrat UK uploaded a video of them playing through the PlayStation 2 version of the modded game in May of last year, and it's about what you'd expect.
Nice touch having an FMV of the trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI play before you hit the title screen though. Really sells the next-gen experience.
Look, do what you want with your own money, but you could just download the mod for yourself instead of modding a PS2 and purchasing this from a dodgy-looking website.
Then again, folks are so starved for updates on this game that nothing surprises me at this point. Can’t believe we got GTA VI PS2 before GTA VI trailer 2.
