With Grand Theft Auto 6 taking us back to the Miami-inspired Vice City, fans are speculating as to the size of the entry’s map.

For the first time since 2002, Grand Theft Auto fans will be heading back to Vice City in the upcoming Grand Theft Auto 6. The Miami-inspired city and surrounding areas will be the home of our brand-new protagonists Jason and Lucia and the first official trailer gave us our first look at what we can expect. With the trailer showing us all the wacky and wild events taking place in a fictional Florida, it wasn’t long before fans began speculating as to how different Vice City will be in 2025 and more specifically, how much more of it we will get to see.

Check out the first official Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer below!

To help answer that question, one fan has combined trailer footage and leaked evidence to put together a GTA 6 map prediction. The map, created by DuPz0r and posted to Reddit, shows that the 2025 Rockstar title is expected to feature a map “more than twice the size” of its predecessor, Grand Theft Auto 5.

The map, although very basic, shows the impressive scale and features landmarks such as Lake Leonida in the north, Port Gellhorn to the west, Washington Beach to the east and Vice City International Airport to the south. Right at the bottom of the map we can see the ‘Gator Keys’ which doesn’t sound like the best place to go if you want to keep your limbs.

Although this map should be taken with a pinch of salt and will perhaps be nowhere near the finished Rockstar product, it is still exciting to get an idea of how GTA 6 will look when it is released sometime in 2025.

In related news, Grand Theft Auto 6 has already received its first reward because of course it has.

I like Red Dead Redemption 2 for the most part, but this feature would annoy me so much if they brought it back for GTA VI.
