With Grand Theft Auto VI fast approaching, eager fans are speculating as to how big its Vice City map will actually be.

We now know that Grand Theft Auto VI will take players back to the infamous Vice City as well as its surrounding areas.

Check out the first official trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI below!

Based on a map of Florida, we can already expect Rockstar to go above and beyond to make the latest entry in the Grand Theft Auto series more realistic than ever before.

Not to mention that it has been reported GTA VI has cost approximately $2 billion to make, making it the most expensive video game ever created.

However, one fan has seemingly discovered where all that money has gone by comparing maps taken from Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto IV and comparing them to GTA VI’s scale.

“I added V and IV to the mapping project to show how much GTA has grown!” The post reads over on r/GTA6.

As the image shows, GTA VI is set to come in as the largest map so far but it is still not far behind the scale of Los Santos and surrounding areas.

However, in comparison, Grand Theft Auto IV’s map pales in comparison and is under half the size of its successor titles.

However, it appears some fans have some answers.

“Remember 70% of GTA 5’s map was just mountains,” one wrote.

Florida basically has no mountains so the map can very well feel far far bigger than it's already speculated to be.”

Another said: “I just hope that GTA 6 doesn’t have a huge map with wasted space like GTA 5.”

With Grand Theft Auto VI expected to feature more content than ever before, it is doubtful there will be room for empty space.

However, we will finally see the ambitious project when the Rockstar title releases some time in 2025.
