GTA 6 leaked robbery gameplay blows fans away

GTA 6 leaked robbery gameplay blows fans away

With so many leaks, at least one of them has to be true, right? Right?

The year is 2035. News on the GTA VI trailer is still non-existent, and so we have to deal with the tiny morsels that Rockstar insiders and leakers gift us. Hopefully, we won’t still be doing this song-and-dance in 2035, but you never know. Thank goodness, then, for leaked gameplay footage that shows us that, while a tedious wait, the game is worth waiting for.

So-called leaked in-game footage has made its way onto Twitter, and, in true Twitter style, fans are not okay about it. The clip is short at 45 seconds long, yet within those seconds we get to see just how intuitive the gameplay is going to be, and how impressive the graphics look. Since its upload, over 32K users have liked the post, with that number continuously growing as more and more excited fans try to catch a glimpse of possible gameplay footage.

While we wait for GTA VI, let's enjoy the carnage of this GTA V Godzilla mod!

Despite all evidence pointing to a positive reception when the game launches, some gamers are dunking on the graphics, saying that it looks “like Watch Dogs 2”. Although meant as an insult, fans have been quick to respond to such unnecessary negativity, with one user saying, “For Alpha debug footage, looking like Watch Dogs 2 is insanely good. Imagine the final version.” Another fan also shared this sentiment, while adding that when the GTA V pre-Alpha came out it “looked like a mobile”, thus emphasising just how mind-blowing the graphics in this leaked footage actually are.

Regardless of how you feel about this “leaked footage”, it’s important to proceed with caution and either assume it’s old, fake, or still a work in progress. Even though we want to believe that all leaked GTA VI content is real, like the character animations that have stunned gamers with their realism, we know it could be phony. If they're true, that’s amazing, but if they're not, such is life as a long-suffering fan.

Thank goodness we have sensational moments from classic GTA games, like Vice City, to console us during this bleak period. Sporting an incredible soundtrack, we can at least enjoy some absolute bangers while we cry into our drinks.
