GTA VI is due to launch later this year, but not for everyone as PC users will once again be left out in the cold.
When Rockstar Games dropped the first trailer for GTA VI, fans immediately noticed how there was no mention of a PC release on day one, whenever that’ll be.
It’ll be worth the wait, of course, but still it stings a bit.
Xbox and PlayStation users will be fine as usual but PC players will get their port sometime later, much like GTA V, though when that’ll be remains to be seen.

Chances are it won’t be too long after the game’s launch, as Rockstar Games and its parent company Take-Two will know damn well how many PC players want to dive into the game, and more players equals more profits so a port will likely be of a high priority.
Nevertheless, fans will still have a long while to wait, which is devastating and not ideal for spoilers.
When the news first broke, it angered many with old posts commenting on the “painful” wait, pointing out how piracy may be the best bet to playing the game before the actual port drops, but of course that’s not encouraged.
Personally, I don’t see why this keeps happening; you’d hope for a game as big as GTA VI that players on both console and PC platforms would get to play it at the same time but I guess that’s not how it works.

You never know though, the marketing for GTA VI hasn’t really kicked off yet so there’s a slight chance the game’s launch gets updated for PC players too, don’t hold your breath though.
As for when the PC port will drop, for previous games, Rockstar has taken anything from one to two years post launch.
