GTA VI fans have gone wild for the game's second trailer, and you can hardly blame them; it delivers our most detailed look at the title so far.

Fresh information and a second trailer for the highly anticipated next entry in Rockstar Games’ Grand Theft Auto series has certainly been a long time coming.

Alas, our patience has been rewarded with Rockstar not only setting a release date (albeit a delayed one), but days later, also treating us to GTA VI's second trailer.

To no surprise whatsoever, Grand Theft Auto fans have been loving the new GTA VI trailer, with its YouTube upload currently at over 84 million views after just one day.

On Twitter, it's had over 106 million views at the time of writing.

To put it mildly, the second GTA VI trailer is a thing of beauty, and it’s sent fans into a frenzy - especially as it's now been revealed that the trailer comprises equally of gameplay and in-engine footage.

I'll be honest, it looks so good that I thought this was a cinematic affair with no gameplay in sight but that's Rockstar for you - defying belief.

“Literally the best graphics I’ve ever seen,” said Jake Randall, replying to a tweet from Rockstar Games.

“Rockstar really said, 'Patience is a virtue,' and then dropped a trailer that made me forget the last 10 years of waiting,” exclaimed Streamlabs.

“One of the best trailers ever. The music selection is perfect and gives me chills,” said Hellboy-v9r in the comments section of the YouTube video.

“At this point, GTA VI is not a game. It’s an emotional experience,” replied qo5c.

“So, we're all calling in sick to work around 26 May, right?” asked TheAMaazing.

GTA VI will be released on 26 May 2026 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. Its PC launch is yet to be announced.

Of course, we’ll keep you posted when we hear news on the Grand Theft Auto VI PC release.
