GTA 6 fans torn over 'stunning' new trailer: 'patience is a virtue'

Fans of GTA VI are impressed but yet torn over a stunning new trailer for GTA V and GTA Online.

It’s now been roughly 16 months since Rockstar Games dropped the first trailer for GTA VI in December 2023. Yes, it’s really been 16 months and in just a couple of months, it will be a year-and-a-half.

My wife tells me that “patience is a virtue” and being as impatient as I am, those wise words fly over my head. That being said, I just want to see the second GTA VI trailer and I want to know when the game is coming out.

However, when it comes to Grand Theft Auto fans on PC, they have had to be especially patient, not only for the long-awaited enhanced update for GTA V but at the time of writing, GTA VI hasn't been officially announced for the platform (but we know it will happen).

To celebrate the launch of the free GTA V update, Rockstar Games has released a brand new trailer that quite frankly, blows the previous PC version out of the water.

“The year is 2025 and Rockstar has just released a NEW trailer for GTA V,” said GameRollGTA, retweeting Rockstar Games. “Don’t get me wrong, it's a stunning trailer. Just not the one we’re all waiting for. But, it will come, patience is a virtue. GTA VI will be worth the wait.”

“Man... back in 2020, I thought GTA VI was near or about to be released... time flies,” replied Torobuck1246.

“This is why I leaned towards a 2026 release date at this point,” exclaimed jaysd_69.

“This is just a part of the pre-campaign before the GTA VI release. All the puzzle pieces are slowly coming together. The hype is real, it’ll be worth the wait,” replied emmarcin.

Hopefully, Rockstar Games will finally reveal the second trailer and release date for GTA VI in the coming months.

GTA VI is currently scheduled to be released at the end of this year on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
