Grand Theft Auto VI fans just cannot help themselves it seems, because they’re hellbent on cooking up a new theory about April Fool’s Day… although Rockstar Games is notorious for trolling their fanbase, so maybe they’re onto something.

Last night (in American time at least), one user on the r/GTA6 subreddit decided to dig up an old theory in an attempt to repurpose it.

Said theory relates to the “??? Tee” that was added to Grand Theft Auto Online back in June 2023, which players immediately believed to be a clue for Grand Theft Auto VI once it was added to the in-game store.

That’s because the numbers on the t-shirt, once translated into their respective letters of the alphabet, reveal a phrase: “One Day Will Reveal All”.

Now fans seem to think that said day is April Fool’s Day, as they’re assuming that the “One” in “One Day Will Reveal All” literally means the first day of the month.

Not much to go off, but it wouldn’t be the first time Rockstar Games decided to tease players with information about one of their games on the least trustworthy day of the year.

You can view GTA VI's one and only trailer below.

That being said, most of the commenters in the thread aren’t buying it.

“At this point I’ll take anything even though nothing happening tomorrow is the most likely outcome,” commented one user.

“We all know it's fool's day so do Rockstar, they are obsessed with trolling the community,” replied user Traditional_Dish_568.

Can hardly blame everyone for not feeling it at the moment, considering that the GTA VI community is currently 0-58 in terms of their theories being correct.

But… I dunno, I could see something happening today. It might not necessarily be a real announcement of sorts, but I just wouldn’t be surprised if Rockstar Games pipes up in one way or another.
