At this time, we still don’t know what the GTA VI release date will be, however, developer Rockstar Games has dropped a surprise to keep us busy until that time arrives.

Finally, after years of waiting, Rockstar Games made the announcement that we will be treated to the first official trailer for GTA VI when it drops in early December. We don't know exactly what this trailer will feature, but hopefully, it will contain at least a snippet of gameplay and perhaps even a release window or date.

Check out our GTA VI news roundup video below!

So what has Rockstar Games dropped to keep us busy until the release of the next entry of the ever-popular Grand Theft Auto series arrives, I hear you ask? In celebration of Rockstar’s 25th anniversary, it has dropped a massive Spotify playlist with 100 songs from the GTA series totalling over six-and-a-half hours of musical bliss that will surely get our nostalgia vibes tingling.

The ‘Grand Theft Auto Radio’ Spotify playlist “showcases everything from the new wave of Vice City’s Flash FM to the hip-hop classics of GTA IV’s The Beat 102.7 — all the way through to the latest GTA Online updates, and more … all in one convenient place,” reads the description provided by Rockstar Games.

Some of the tracks featured in the playlist include ‘Feel Good Inc.’ by the Gorillaz, ‘Still D.R.E’ from Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg, ‘Never Too Much’ from Luther Vandross, ‘Me & U’ from Cassie, Saturday Night’s Alright (For Fighting) by Elton John, and much more. Best of all, this Grand Theft Auto playlist is totally free and all you need is an active Spotify account. Happy days!

While a release date for GTA VI hasn't been announced at the time of writing, it is expected to be released sometime during 2024 to 2025 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
