Rockstar is no stranger to making its worlds feel as alive as possible and one way it achieves that is by introducing the occasional celebrity cameo.

As we cruised the streets of Los Santos in Grand Theft Auto V, we had our pick of multiple radio stations and many of them featured the familiar voices of some of our favourite celebrities.

Real-world musicians such as Frank Ocean, DJ Pooh, Pam Grier, and Kenny Loggins were just some of the celebrities picked to lend their voices as in-game radio hosts and even Dr. Dre featured in Grand Theft Auto Online back in 2022.

Now according to a recent rumour, Rockstar will be continuing this trend by welcoming back some well-known musicians and we may just know of one already.

Reported by ComicBook and originally shared by TheGhostofHope on Twitter, DJ Khaled will be amongst the big names featured in Grand Theft Auto VI when it releases later this year.

He will be hosting one of the game’s many radio stations so we can also assume that some of his music will also be featured.

Of course, this rumour is worth taking with a pinch of salt but it would definitely make sense considering Rockstar’s previous collaborations with big-name artists.

However, the response to DJ Khaled’s potential cameo was met with mixed reviews.

“Honestly, really cool since he used to do radio in Miami. It'd be sick if he themed the station around Miami artists,” Twitter user Treybino said.

“Cancelled pre-order,” another user joked.

For now, fans are waiting for the highly-anticipated release of Grand Theft Auto VI which is expected to drop in Fall 2025.

With Take-Two confirming that this release date is still looking highly likely, we will soon be finding out which big names may be joining DJ Khaled for our soundtrack across Vice City.
