Grand Theft Auto Online’s brand-new DLC is expected to launch on 10 December and alongside the ability to purchase your very own mansion, a familiar face will also be making an appearance.
“You’ve built an empire. Now let us erect your palace,” reads the official tagline of the brand-new GTA Online: A Safehouse in the Hills DLC.
Arriving free for GTA Online players on 10 December, the update will add heaps of new content with the main showstopper being the chance to add a jaw-dropping mansion to your retail portfolio.
“Withdraw to the Tongva Hills and its stellar views of the Pacific Ocean, thrive amongst the city's elite in Richman, or bask in the carcinogenic glow of the Vinewood sign,” the official blog post reads.

In your spanking-new mansion, you will be able to park your many cars on an expansive driveway, enjoy luxurious outdoor spaces, take part in restorative yoga and lavish in your very own swimming pool.
Not only that but you will have access to a tranquil hot tub, gym equipment, kennels for your dogs, and a spacious garage.
Yes, I sound like an estate agent but stick with me here.
That is because, alongside all of this new retail and its features, a familiar face will also be returning for the first time in over a decade.

None other than Michael De Santa himself.

A Familiar Face Returns
Introduced way back in 2013 as one of the three main protagonists in Grand Theft Auto V, Michael is one of the most iconic video game characters of all time and fans are over the moon to see his return.

Alongside wife Amanda, of course.
Appearing in the brand-new trailer for GTA Online: A Safehouse in the Hills, Michael and Amanda can be seen greeting your character and welcoming you into one of the many mansions you will be adding to your portfolio… if you have the cash.
Looking a bit older than when we last saw him, Michael still looks as we remember and with Ned Luke returning to the role, it is nostalgic to see him, even if it is just for a brief cameo.
GTA Online: A Safehouse in the Hills hits all major platforms on 10 December and with mansions expected to be the most expensive feature yet, you had better start saving if you wish to move to the Vinewood Hills and show off your wealth.
