While we wait for the arrival of GTA VI, thankfully, there’s still plenty of fun to be had in GTA Online, especially when it comes to this new limited-time event.

We all know that the next entry of Grand Theft Auto is on the way and unless it gets delayed), GTA VI should be released sometime at the end of this year. However, for those who are desperately itching to play GTA VI, that can be an agonising wait.

Check out the GTA Online - Lunar New Year trailer below!

Originally bundled with GTA V before being available as a standalone release, GTA Online is Rockstar Games’ biggest cash cow, which is why it regularly gets supported with content updates such as the latest event that celebrates China’s Lunar New Year with 20205 being the Year of the Snake.

Just playing GTA Online between now and 12 February 2025, whether you log in or partake in its many themed activities, you will be rewarded with a plethora of exclusive DLC as well as bonus XP and in-game currency.

For example, you will be gifted with the Gold Snake Santo Capra outfit, not to mention currency and XP for finding 36 hidden collectables during the event.

What’s more, by taking part in just one of the new Stunt Races, you will acquire the Lunar New Year livery for the Maibatsu Penumbra FF and tons of cosmetic outfits just by logging in until the event ends.

GTA V and GTA Online are out now on PC, PlayStation and Xbox. GTA VI will be released on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. The PC version of Grand Theft Auto VI hasn't been revealed yet.
