It looks like PlayStation is set to lose one of its console exclusives later this year. According to a new leak, 2021's Oddworld: Soulstorm will be packing up and making the jump to Xbox consoles sooner rather than later.
Oddworld: Soulstorm finally hit PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 back in April, following a particularly lengthy development period. For those that don't know, Soulstorm is a direct sequel to 2014's New N' Tasty, which itself was a remake of the first game in the series. While critic reviews were mixed, fans of the franchise were delighted to see the Oddworld franchise back in action after so long. It was also one of the free PS Plus games for April, which was a neat touch.
Any Xbox fans out there hoping for a slice of Oddworld: Soulstorm will no doubt be glad to learn that Abe and friends will be coming to Microsoft consoles. That's according to a newly leaked retail listing for the game, which seems to suggest it's coming to Xbox One and Xbox Series X.

While I'd be the first to admit that the leaked listing looks pretty darn janky and could be nothing more than a simple mistake on the part of the retailer, this is not the first we've heard of Oddworld: Soulstorm on Xbox. Earlier this month the ESRB listed Soulstorm on its website and included references to Xbox One and Xbox Series X. While this listing has since been updated to remove the mention of Microsoft's platforms, there's clearly a strong suggestion that its arrival on Xbox is imminent.
For now, Oddworld: Soulstorm is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC, so it's not as if you don't have options if you really want to check out the latest chapter of Abe's odyssey.
