With Season 4 of Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare and Call Of Duty: Warzone expected to arrive next week, Infinity Ward is offering players one last chance to do everything they need to do in Season 3. The developer has announced another Double XP weekend, which means we've got one last chance to complete every tier of the Season 3 Battle Pass and earn the best rewards.

The event will kick off on Friday, May 29th at around 6pm and end the following Monday at the same time. Plenty of opportunity to get stuck in and rise through the ranks, then. Even if you suck and lose most of your games (like me), you'll still come away with a decent amount of XP per game.

"Double XP, Weapon XP, Double Battle Pass tier progression kicks off this Friday," Activision writes. "Earn double the rewards when you jump into a Multiplayer match or drop into Warzone. See if you can earn this Season's blueprint for maxing out your rank and unlock Alex 'Indomitable' skin at Tier 100 in the Battle Pass."

Today's updates to Modern Warfare and Warzone also saw a number of changes introduced to both games. Modern Warfare now has a few revamped playlists, including 24/7 moshpits for Shoot House and Shipment. Deathmatch Domination and Drop Zone also have their own dedicated playlists now, while Gun Game has a new collection of Gunfight maps.

Meanwhile, Warzone has sadly removed the excellent Battle Royale Trios Classic, and added Plunder Quads. People don't seem too thrilled about this, but I've no doubt one of the other limited-time modes that recently leaked will replace Plunder Quads soon enough.

We have no idea what exactly Infinity Ward has planned for Season 4 right now, but fans believe it's going to be big. Recently opened bunkers, hidden nukes, and the potential return of Captain Price (now confirmed!) all suggest that we're due a major shakeup in the battle royale. It's even been speculated that the battle royale map could be getting a Cold War-style makeover to coincide with the 2020 Call Of Duty, believed to be called Black Ops Cold War.

With June 2nd as the expected start date for Season 4, we shouldn't have too long to wait before we find out for ourselves what Infinity Ward has planned. There are certainly more mysteries waiting to be solved, and I can't wait to find out exactly what's brewing under the surface.
