If you've been playing through Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Call Of Duty: Warzone's shiny new Season 6 update, then no doubt you've already come across one of the many bugs and glitches that have plagued the shooter and its battle royale spinoff since its launch earlier this week.

As such, it probably comes as no surprise to you to hear that one unfortunate player seems to have discovered a bug that actually teleported them straight out of the battle royale's dreaded Gulag.

Twitch streamer SyleathS shared this latest bug after they discovered it while playing through the popular battle royale. After kicking the bucket and sitting through the usual cinematic animation in which players are dragged into the Gulag upon death, he unexpectedly found himself teleported onto one of the underground subway trains that were introduced earlier this week.

Upon managing to find - and kill - an enemy player on the train, the screen faded to black as if he was about to be dropped back onto the Verdansk map. Unfortunately, he quickly found himself back on the same Subway train with no explanation. Eventually the streamer was spared from commuter purgatory and sent back to the dank and dingy prison fight his way back to Verdansk through the proper channels... but for a brief moment he tasted sweet freedom without having to risk it all in the Gulag.

Take a look at this utterly bizarre glitch in action for yourself below.

This isn't the first bug to come to light since the Season 6 update went live. When playing Warzone myself I've been hit with bugs that stop me from being able to fire any of my guns, which is of course pretty problematic when the goal is to kill other players. Another is the new subway station teleporting me and my squad straight into the gas, condemning us to death. With that said, the new Armoured Royale mode has been pretty great... so you win some you lose some.

You can expect Activision and Infinity Ward to roll out an update in the near future to address many of these new bugs. Until then if you find yourself teleporting out of the Gulag, live in that moment, because you'll quickly find yourself straight back in there to fight for your life.
