Jason Momoa and Dave Bautista are two actors that I never would have considered to headline a movie together before, but now that the idea of a buddy cop action flick starring the pair has been floated? Well, I'm kind of obsessed with the idea.

Bautista, who you probably know best these days as Guardians Of The Galaxy's Drax The Destroyer, recently tweeted out a pitch for a buddy cop movie starring himself and Dune co-star Jason Momoa. Bautista described it as a Lethal Weapon-style romp directed by John Wick's David Leitch. Needless to say, the fans went wild for it

Take a look at Bautista in Zack Snyder's Army Of The Dead below!

As it turns out, it looks like Bautista's attempt to will the movie into existence by tweeting it first might actually have worked. Appearing on The Late Late Show With James Corden, Momoa addressed the pitch and admitted that it'll probably happen.

"I'm not on Twitter, but [Bautista] literally texted me about four days ago, going, 'We need to do a buddy cop film'", Momoa told Corden. "We love each other, you know, obviously we met on See, we're on Dune together. So I said, 'Absolutely.' And he's like, 'Let's do it in Hawaii.' I'm like, 'Let's do it.' I'm like, 'I got an idea.'

"So it's off to the races now. We're doing it. It sells itself, bro. Dave loves wearing Speedos. I love wearing board shorts. And both of us with our shirts off. He'll be grumpy and I'll be charming. Boom. It sells itself, bro. I have the hair. He doesn't have hair. We cover all the demographics."

Here's hoping we get to see Bautista and Momoa in Speedos And Board Shorts on the big-screen next Summer.
