Elon Musk's New Tesla Can Play 'The Witcher 3', For Some Reason

It’ll also run ‘Cyberpunk 2077’ better than your PS4...

I drive a car, but I don't really have any interest in cars - so when I see the words Tesla Plaid Model S written on a page, no idea, mate. Four wheels, engine, goes around corners, car. I just can't get excited about automobiles.

But this particular car can, apparently, play video games. And yes, I can play video games in my car; but my car doesn't play them, itself. So I guess the Plaid Model S has an advantage over my knackered, old banger.

Tesla owner Elon Musk tweeted out that the new car - which becomes available next month to people who are interested in owning such a set of wheels - can "play Cyberpunk 2077". Which not only makes it better than my car, but also my PlayStation 4. So well done, I guess, Elon.

But if you take a closer look at the image Musk tweeted before this Cyberpunk 2077 confirmation, you'll see a rather better game on the dashboard of the car's built-in Tesla Arcade. Namely, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - GAMINGbible's own second-best-game-ever (of all time, in the world).

We're fans, is what we're saying - so the prospect of taking Geralt and Roach out into the wilds of Velen from the comfort of our driver's seat sure is... something we'll never do. But some people? Some people will be able to do just that.

It also looks like Stardew Valley and Cuphead will be available in the Tesla's games library - and is that Cat Quest? Sure, why wouldn't it be. There's also something distinctly Fallout-shaped in the mix there, and a very Outrun-adjacent-looking racer. I wanted to say Horizon Chase Turbo, but on a second glance, I don't think it is. Playing a driving game when you're in your car, hopefully not driving? Why not. (It turns out the game is Beach Buggy Racing 2. I'm sure you're relieved to know that it's included alongside Wild Hunt.)

Apparently the Tesla Arcade compares fairly well with modern consoles, with ten of those teraflops under the hood - in this case, literally. Again, making my base PS4 look pretty crappy, there. In related news, Elon Musk recently poured further fuel onto the fire of the current GameStop stocks story with a well-timed "gamestonk!" tweet - and you can check out our explainer video on that bizarre situation, below.
