A cluster of Call Of Duty: Warzone players have stumbled upon private lobbies for the game, suggesting that this is an incoming feature.

Players have... lobbied for (I had to) private lobbies for a while, and seeing that three individual players have managed to "glitch" into one for a match of Mini Royale, it's safe to say that Infinity Ward heard their cries. According to their findings, the custom settings for private matches will range from choosing the game mode, number of lives, circle size and speed, player health options, to enabling tactical sprinting, weapon mounting, and revives.

One of the players, Modern Warzone, also claims that these private games do not include AI players and will not give away experience points to the players. But, players will be able to activate Easter eggs without the interference of other players, nor the pressure of the shrinking circle on the map. At the time of writing, neither Infinity Ward nor Activision have made mention of the private lobbies, so we'll hold our horses for now.

Season 6 of the extremely popular (more popular than Fortnite) game has brought a bundle of boons to the battle royale. The underground rail system in Verdansk lets players travel between Verdansk Airport, Lozoff Pass, Verdansk Centre, Downtown/Tavorsk District, Barakett Shopping District, Verdansk Train Station, and Torsk Bloc. As a change that has incredible tactical potential, Infinity Ward did ensure that the stations wouldn't devolve into a bloodbath by banning fighting on a moving train. It's just manners, after all.

The new Operators are Farah and Nikolai, and the R700 sniper rifle, the AS-VAL Assault Rifle, and the AA12 Shotgun have also arrived as part of Season 6. In addition, there are teases for a "terrifying mid-season event," which is thought to be Zombie Royale.

Leaks suggest that it would be a limited-time mode, where players will return as zombies after being eliminated. These zombies are immune to the circle's gas, and actually become more powerful when standing in the mist. What's more, zombified players may be able to become human again by... "consuming enough remains". Be sure to floss before you flash your pearly whites at your teammates, in that case.

However, this is not confirmed yet, and it might not even be zombies after all. One player has even heard unnerving laughter near the forest close to Verdansk Stadium. Shambling decaying bodies hungering for flesh? Fine. We can cope. Disembodied giggles from a little girl in the midst of a devastated city? Nah. Keep it.
