We’re in the final countdown to God of War: Ragnarök’s release now, and fans have every reason to be excited. In his preview, GAMINGbible’s very own Ewan said that “the combat is faster, the puzzles are smarter, and the bosses far more imposing than ever before”, and added that it’s “shaping up to be everything we could have possibly wanted from a sequel to God of War - and so much more”.

However, despite the game not actually being out yet, that’s not stopped spoilers from popping up online. Somehow, some people have managed to get their hands on early copies, and as a result, are already getting stuck into Kratos’ latest adventure. If you hadn’t already got all your key words muted on social media, now is the time.

As reported by GamesRadar+, it’s not just the game that’s made its way out into the wild early. Twitter user @RasheedaASmith shared that she’d apparently ordered a Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II PS5 console bundle from PS Direct, and had instead received the unreleased Ragnarök bundle. How on earth this happened is another matter, but the lucky customer clarified that the console is going to a friend as she already has the Collector’s Edition reserved.

Thanks to the game included in the bundle being a digital copy, even if she did open the box now, she wouldn’t actually be able to play it. Even if she could though, it sounds like she would have done the right thing and not posted spoilers online, as she later added that she doesn’t “believe in leaks”.

When launch day finally comes, fans will have a huge game to get stuck into, anyway - completionists can apparently get ready to throw 70 hours into the new title if they want to 100% it.
