Game of Thrones’ glory days sure were beautiful, weren’t they? Before the darkness of the divisive final season, we’d all gather week-on-week to endlessly theorise about what could possibly lie ahead - putting forward our case for who would end up on the throne. It was a blissful time.

Alas, it’s a time that ended three years ago when Game of Thrones debuted its final ever episode. The GAMINGbible team strongly advised me that I should never let on that I actually really enjoyed the final season but hey, I guess the world knows now. The good news is, there’s more content on the way. We already knew about the House of the Dragon series, but now it’s been unveiled that a Jon Snow sequel is also on the way.

Did you know that there's a Game of Thrones sword hidden in Elden Ring? Take a look below.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, HBO has entered early development on a Jon Snow sequel series with actor Kit Harington attached to reprise the role. Jon Snow’s ending may have split opinion, but he was undeniably a fan-favourite throughout the show’s eight seasons. So where would a Jon Snow sequel pick up? Spoilers lie ahead, obviously, but you’ve had three years to watch the series finale.

After Daenerys besieged King’s Landing, Jon killed the would-be queen earning himself a new home in a prison cell. With King Bran taking the leadership helm, Jon was able to avoid a death sentence. Instead, he was permitted to return to Castle Black and The Wall. With the White Walkers defeated, The Wall held little purpose and so Jon ventured to the land’s beyond along with the Free Folk, taking on the title of King Beyond The Wall.

My problem is, what foe could Jon possibly face next? He’s united the various factions beyond The Wall. He’s destroyed the Night King. If another threat lay in his midst, wouldn’t we have heard about it? I’m dubious, but I’m also curious so I guess that’ll be me tuning in.
