If you are a Call of Duty fan but wish the game strayed from its familiar setting then this upcoming MMO FPS title is guaranteed to grab your attention.

There is no denying that the Call of Duty franchise is one of the most successful of all time but sometimes you just need to change it up a bit to keep things fresh.

Check out the most recent saga in the Call of Duty franchise below!

Luckily, PIONER combines the best of Call of Duty with the post-apocalyptic setting of Fallout to give us a vast, grim world which will be home to both PvP and PvE battles.

Developed by GFAGAMES, PIONER takes place in an “alternative-reality world where Soviet-era structures lie abandoned on a desolate, post-apocalyptic island”.

Your survival will not only depend on slaying your enemies but also by crafting, gathering resources and being smart with resource management as you cycle between hundreds of weapons and embark on its deep story.

Set on a 50+ square kilometer map, PIONER is “defined by dynamic PvE and PvP elements, where realism takes priority over traditional health bars or character levels”.

Between hidden dungeons, story and faction quests and the ability to influence relationships and earn loyalty rewards, this takes the MMO FPS genre to its limits before you even get to the Shadowlands, home to PvP battles.

“The game focuses on immersion, encouraging players to explore, strategize, and survive in a world where their choices matter,” the official synopsis reads.

“The game’s world continues to evolve, with more details to be revealed closer to its 2025 release.”

As you can see, PIONER is not set to launch fully until some time in 2025.

However, it is now available to wishlist on Steam so if you are a Call of Duty fanatic or just enjoy a post-apocalyptic setting, PIONER is definitely one to keep an eye on.
