We just received a very exciting update about the next big Fallout-related release, and fans are already looking forward to what Bethesda is cooking up next…
Great news! Amazon has just announced that the second season of their Fallout TV adaptation has just officially wrapped filming.
Although we still don’t have a release date for the next season, it’s a pretty good sign that filming has wrapped so soon into the year.

Everyone was kind of working under the assumption that this would drop in 2026, but considering they have a whole six months left in the year for post-production… well, let’s just say I think there’s a solid chance we could see this come out towards the end of 2025 instead.
As expected, most of the comments over on Twitter are hyped to see the next season drop, but everyone is also equally excited for what this may mean for the Fallout franchise’s future.
Season one was so good, and we played snog, marry, irradiate with the cast!
“Excited for the best video game to tv/film adaptation of all time to return!” commented user @TFTWpod.

“Bethesda is cooking on all dimensions”, replied user @JcFiscus.
“Y'all better play 'Big Iron' when The Ghoul enters New Vegas”, remarked user @ZoieNolan1.
As for what's next, let's not forget about those plans for a Fallout 3 remaster that leaked several years ago (although they have since been delayed).
Given the absolutely resounding success of Bethesda’s remaster of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, I wouldn’t be surprised if we see that leaked Fallout 3 remaster a little sooner than we expected (especially if there’s a chance it can line up with the release of a second or third season of the Fallout TV show).

As far as a Fallout: New Vegas remaster goes, though… well, everyone (Bethesda included) knows that the internet would eat it up. Let’s see how that Fallout 3 remaster pans out first, though.
