Elon Musk ragequits livestream after constantly dying while trying to prove he's good at POE2

Well, that backfired

Elon Musk is not doing himself any favours as, despite claiming that he was some sort of god gamer, a recent livestream has proved that this may have been a slight exaggeration.

Earlier this year saw the businessman claim that he had beaten Path of Exile 2 on its permadeath Hardcore mode which, as many gamers will know, is an impressive feat to say the least.

If you think you could do better, check out the trailer for Path of Exile below!

However, it seems as though Musk had bent the truth ever so slightly and also thought that the best way to convince people would be to go live and show off his impressive gaming skills.

Going live in what looked like one of his many private jets, Musk booted up Path of Exile 2 but after just 30-minutes, he rage-quit after dying to the game’s tutorial boss.

Oh, and after receiving heaps of abuse via the in-game chat.

"Elon Musk just rage quit his Twitter stream after repeatedly dying to a tutorial boss in the new PoE2 patch on hardcore,” Twitter user DevinDtv posted alongside a screenshot of the livestream in question.

It seems strange that the billionaire would die to the tutorial boss after claiming that he had beat the game in its hardcore mode but when have we ever believed what billionaires have said?

However, fellow PoE2 players were quick to make use of the in-game chat function and left Musk some personal messages, including:

"YOU HAVE NO FRIENDS AND YOU WILL DIE ALONE."

"YOU RUINED THE COUNTRY JUST LIKE YOU RUINED YOUR MARRIAGES."

Then to make matters worse, he tried to block out the hate by playing a track from singer Grimes who just so happens to be his ex.

It was a series of unfortunate events to be sure.

Despite Musk’s audience telling him to make use of the ‘Do not disturb’ feature, he decided to ignore this and instead ended the stream after just 30-minutes.
