We’re all anticipating the release of The Elder Scrolls VI, something that’s not going to happen anytime soon.

Last year, Starfield finally launched into the world - and no, that’s not a space pun - but that doesn’t mean that the hard work is over for Bethesda. Developers are prepping for the release of the Shattered Space expansion, while several player-requested features are also in development, such as the addition of city maps. When the Starfield team is thinned out, the headcount of the The Elder Scrolls VI team will then expand. The game is currently in development but it could be several years before we get an update, let alone a release date. In the meantime though, you can grab the newly released The Elder Scrolls: Castles.

Take a look at some of our favourite Starfield wins and fails below.

“We’re excited to finally share The Elder Scrolls: Castles, our new mobile game from the team behind Fallout Shelter. The team has been hard at work on it for the last few years and we absolutely adore it,” Bethesda shared back in January. “In Castles, you'll build your own dynasty where every day in our world is a year in the game's world. Citizens are born, they die, rulers change, and can be betrayed.”

The good news is that the game is totally free. The bad news is that the game might not yet be available in your territory as it’s slowly rolling out worldwide. So far, it should be available in The Philippines, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, and Iceland. If it’s not available in your country, you can pre-register your interest to be notified when it’s your turn to dive in.

Given that The Elder Scrolls: Castles isn’t yet available in the UK, I can’t vouch for whether it’s any good or not. That being said, Fallout Shelter is a stellar underrated gem so that always bodes well.
