There’s a reason why so many players keep on returning to Night City.

Certainly, there’s the simple fact that Cyberpunk 2077 is a fantastic game.

Beyond that though, devs at CD Projekt RED have confirmed that the game is still home to many undiscovered secrets and Easter eggs.

That’s why plenty of fans are scouring this neon-soaked open-world.

While I can’t say for certain whether this is the first unearthing of this particular discovery, Reddit user Dr_Mordin_SolusV3 has managed to locate a weapon many didn’t know existed.

The weapon can actually be found in Dogtown so you’ll need a copy of Cyberpunk 2077’s DLC Phantom Liberty if you want to nab the weapon for yourself.

CD Projekt RED is now busy beavering away on The Witcher IV.

“I was exploring and I came across a secret weapon in Dogtown. Just go swimming here and you’ll see where it is,” they wrote.

You can view the spot on the map below; it’s pretty much smackbang in the middle of Dogtown.

As the OP states, hop for a swim in a nearby pool - a rather grim pool at that which does not look intended for recreational use - and there you’ll find the Kyubi x-MOD2.

It’s a power assault rifle with a 150% headshot damage multiplier, as well as 25% armour penetration, and 5% burn chance.

There are actually quite a few x-MOD2 weapons scattered across Dogtown, so I do recommend having a little scour in the most unsuspecting of places.

“Once I found this , this was my primary the rest of the game. Loved it,” replied heinous_legacy.

“I randomly jumped in there just to see what would happen and then swam down to the bottom and found that awesome weapon,” added Odd-Collection-2575.

“This game just keeps on giving. On my fifth play through and am still finding cool s**t,” wrote UsefulChicken8642.

Many users remarked that the Kyubi x-MOD2 is their favourite in-game rifle.

Now back to it everyone. Let’s weed out those over undiscovered secrets.
