CD Projekt RED has just shown off a brand new trailer for Cyberpunk 2077, to help celebrate a special occasion on all platforms.

The trailer was posted on Twitter by the official @CyberpunkGame account last night, and it seems CD Projekt RED is mainly using it to promote the fact that the Ultimate Edition of Cyberpunk 2077 is currently on sale for the holidays.

You can snag Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition for 35% off (down to £37.69) on PlayStation 5 and 40% off (down to £38.99) on Xbox Series S/X.

And no you’re not reading that wrong, as even though the PS5 version has a smaller discount it’s still cheaper than the Xbox Series S/X version (as the game is more expensive at full price on Xbox, for some reason).

Same issue over on PC too, as the Ultimate Edition is 40% off on the Epic Games Store (down to £38.99) and 48% off on Steam (yet it actually costs 9 pence more at £39.08).

However, if you’re not bothered about grabbing the Phantom Liberty expansion for Cyberpunk 2077, the base game is also roughly 50% off on every platform as well (down to roughly £20).

Most folks online didn’t really care about the sale though. They just thought the new trailer was awesome.

Over on Paweł Sasko’s Tweet (Associate Game Director at CD Projekt RED) showing off the trailer, folks seemed extremely impressed.

“This was clean as hell,” replied user @blvck_1ne, “I love it. Even more special because you used the correct V.”

“The trailer is awesome,” commented user @haml87, “Imagine if the game relaunched with it.”

Here’s hoping CD Projekt RED’s next trailer for The Witcher 4 lives up to the hype, especially considering all of the buzz that was generated following the team’s latest update on the title…
