Despite ceasing development on Cyberpunk 2077, CD Projekt RED is far from done with its hit title and has surprised fans with some free new downloads.

Perhaps to celebrate its recent announcement that Cyberpunk 2077 has sold an incredible 30 million copies since launch, CD Projekt RED is rewarding fans with more of what they love - Night City.

Check out the next-gen update trailer for Cyberpunk 2077 below!

No, it isn’t a new game or anything directly linked to the game but it is definitely an exciting download for fans of the 2020 RPG.

Thanks to fans reaching out following the official Cyberpunk 2077 Twitter account posting new artwork earlier this week, CDPR has released the art as digital downloads which would make for perfect wallpapers and phone backgrounds.

“You matter,” the tweet reads. "Highly requested wallpapers inspired by the City of Dreams trailer just dropped!”

The link takes you to the official website where six new wallpapers have been added in a variety of different sizes.

The first is of female V standing out in the crowd and the others consist of scenery from the North Oak, Japantown, Downtown and Corporate Plaza areas of the map, finishing off with a mirrored photo but this time of male V.

It is safe to say that they are all stunning and are getting fans hyped for the highly-anticipated Cyberpunk 2077 sequel.

In reply to the tweet, one comment read: “The love you show the entire community needs to be made an example, it's that good.”

Another said: “I LOVED Night City. Easily one of the best open world locations in gaming. Would love the sequel to take place in an expanded version of NC. More interior places, underground subway systems etc.”

CDPR is currently hard at work developing Cyberpunk 2 but until then, at least we can gaze upon the beauty of the original in 4K.
