Call Of Duty Warzone players have been bamboozled by the newest bug that has wormed its way into the battle royale. Honestly, the clip is priceless. In the kill-cam, a disembodied head is flying across the screen and eliminating players in a disturbingly comedic tribute to Beetlejuice.

Adam Maitland's words are particularly applicable to the state of Warzone, actually, as it is "not working out at all." Last month, Infinity Ward admitted that the team "f**ked up" the game and that “learned the upper limits of their technology" when it comes to the syncing up of the new entries of the series to Warzone.

That "upper limit" may need to be checked again once the team catch wind of this bizarre bug shown in a clip that was shared with the game's community. Reddit user bubuthing is involved in a firefight where they emerge as the loser. However, the kill-cam shows their opponent's replay partially obscured by the severed head of Polina Petrova, one of the Operators who featured in Call of Duty: Vanguard. A number of players mistakenly yet confidently thought the head was something much more NSFW which is a good a sign as any that they should have gone to Specsavers.

While this bug is humorous, it's worth remembering that Activision's teams have been through the wringer. In December, Activision's attitude towards its quality assurance employees at Raven Software led to a walkout in protest of the redundancies and a campaign to unionise. The company responded by telling those employees that there might be "consequences" if they did unionise.

"I urge you and the management at Raven Software to negotiate in good faith with the workers and suspend any efforts to undermine your employees' legal right to form a union and collectively bargain," said United States senator Tammy Baldwin in a letter to Activision CEO Bobby Kotick and Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella.
