Batman: Arkham City meets Fallout in 'underrated' banger you can get for basically free

"Probably the most disgustingly underrated game of the 2010s"

One 2015 action game that feels like a Batman Arkham game if it were set in the Fallout universe is currently on sale for next to nothing, if you’re looking for a cheap, underrated banger to play this month.

Look, I’m gonna be real with you off the bat; I did not care for 2015’s Mad Max.

However, I’m not too proud to admit that sometimes I’m just off the mark on this stuff, because it sounds like I’m one of the only people who didn’t enjoy this game.

For instance, check out the user reviews for Mad Max over on Steam. 91% “Very Positive” rating, with over a whopping 51,000 reviews. Clearly, there’s something in this one I just didn’t see.

South of Midnight just joined Game Pass, and it's well worth playing.

Unfortunately, Mad Max isn’t on sale over on Steam.

Fortunately, it is over on Xbox for £2.99 (provided you’re an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscriber).

Over on Jamie Moran’s Twitter post detailing the news, all of the comments seem to echo those of the reviewers over on Steam.

“Probably the most disgustingly underrated game of the 2010s,” commented user @SkelperX.

“This was one of the first games I got on PS4. I still go back and do a run every now and then.”

“I bought this on your recommendation a while ago, bud,” replied user @DavidMcL_RFC.

“Great little game especially considering how cheap it is. Loads to do.”

If you end up in the same camp as I am on this one, hey, at least you only wasted £2.99.

But, if you do find that you love it as much as everyone else did… £2.99 is a hell of a steal for a good time.

Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m gonna boot up Nubby's Number Factory and play a game that I do actually love instead.
