Ubisoft has finally given us an update about the biggest content update for Assassin’s Creed Shadows yet, including when we can expect that free piece of DLC we’ve all been waiting for.
If you can believe it, Assassin’s Creed Shadows is already four months old. It seems like it was only yesterday we were talking about how upset the anti-woke crowd were with its success, and how the Ubisoft PR team absolutely clowned Elon Musk on Twitter…
Sorry, just got distracted reliving the good times. Now that we’re four months into the release of the game, many have been pestering Ubisoft for updates regarding that piece of free DLC we were all promised, and they’ve finally delivered.
As revealed in an official post on the Ubisoft website, we just got our first glimpse at the newly updated roadmap for Assassin’s Creed Shadows’ upcoming content.

Firstly, they announced that a pretty big "quality-of-life improvement" update is on its way, set to drop sometime in September.
This will feature a bunch of bug fixes, uncapped frame rates for cutscenes on PC, the ability to skip the time of day, and some new hideout updates and upgrades.
Most importantly, however, they also revealed that the Claws of Awaji DLC finally has a release date: September 16. If any of you pre-ordered the game, you'll be getting access to this new content for free.
There's also a completely separate update that's set to drop on July 29 (or in other words, tomorrow). This will add a bunch of requested features to the game, including New Game+ and an increased level cap (from 60 to 80).

The game really must have been a pretty huge success if they’re giving players all of this free stuff. Maybe Ubisoft can finally give us that Assassin's Creed IV remaster once they’re done working on this.
