ARC Raiders Free Quest and Orbs Issued, Simple to Claim

After winning the Best Multiplayer gong at 2025's The Game Awards, ARC Raiders continues to go from strength to strength with millions of players flocking to the hit extraction shooter.

First released back in October, ARC Raiders is a third-person extraction shooter developed and published by Embark Studios, the same creators as The Finals.

Receiving generally favourable reviews for its PvPvE combat, solo or team gameplay, and regular content updates, ARC Raiders has also come under fire for its use of generative AI with Embark Studios sharing a disclaimer on multiple occasions.

Nevertheless, ARC Raiders has been a success story to say the least with the extraction shooter reaching a 481,966 all-time player peak just over a month ago and at the time of writing, over 140,000 players are currently extracting their goods.

Since its launch, ARC Raiders has welcomed multiple content updates that have tied in with gameplay.

For example, players were tasked with hoarding supplies in order to open the underground tunnels and now that this area is accessible, raiders can head to a whole new area which may reset their progress, but will also see them earn a whole lot of rewards.

However, on top of the in-game updates, the official ARC Raiders X account has recently shared a whole new way to grab some freebies.

How to Earn Free ARC Raiders Currency

“Attention Raiders,” the post begins.

“Word around the Rust Belt is that there's a new Discord Quest coming in hot!”

That’s right, Discord users who just so happen to play ARC Raiders can earn themselves 700 Orbs by accepting the Discord Quest and playing the game on a connected account for at least 15-minutes.

With the Quest available until 24 December, you have just a week to grab your 700 Orbs.

If you are an ARC Raiders player who happens to be wondering what Orbs even are. You are not the only one but apparently, Discord Orbs are “currency” that can be used to purchase Discord Nitro or cosmetics on the browser or app.

So, you may not earn anything in ARC Raiders itself but it is definitely worth doing if you want to decorate your Discord profile whilst playing some of the hit extraction shooter.

As you can see from the Twitter comments, fans are not shy in expressing the features they really want added to ARC Raiders but for now, hey, at least you can grab that precious Discord currency in the meantime.
