Upcoming open-world RPG Neverness to Everness is now taking pre-registrations ahead of its official launch later this week.

Described by many as ‘Anime GTA’, Neverness to Everness is the latest release from gacha game giant Perfect World Games.

Perfect World was previously responsible for games like Tower of Fantasy and Persona 5: The Phantom X, and will be launching Neverness to Everness on 29 April.

As gameplay teasers have shown in the past, the game features open-world gameplay played from a third-person perspective. You control different characters and can venture around on foot, or drive in a vehicle.

It clearly wears its Grand Theft Auto-like inspirations on its sleeves, with many of the game’s missions and locations seemingly lifted right out of the Rockstar playbook. For the anime fans who are also excited about GTA VI, this should provide you with a decent alternative for the time being.

Neverness To Everness Features A Load Of Different Free Content Rewards For Pre-Registering

Perfect World Games is encouraging players to pre-register for Neverness to Everness ahead of launch by offering some free incentives.

By hitting various milestones, all players will unlock new content to use in-game. There are five milestones in all, requiring 35 million preregisters in total to collect them all. Luckily, each milestone has already been hit, meaning the content will drop for all players when the game launches.

This includes Beetle Coin x30000, Elite Hunter Guide x20, Fabricated Dice x5, Character (Haniel), and Fabricated Dice x15. Meanwhile, 5 million followers across the game’s main social media accounts has resulted in the Whisker Glider Skin being unlocked for all.

Other launch rewards include a free S-Class character and arc, as well as 120 free pulls and more than 470 pulls through normal gameplay.

“Appraiser, welcome to Eibon Antique Shop,” reads the blurb on Neverness to Everness. “As the Appraiser and a member of Eibon, you must have received your first commission. We're sure you have questions about the job.

“It is true that Anomaly Hunters are often asked to help solve problems and deal with all sorts of anomalies, like ‘Mysties,’ who are up to no good and preventing customers from getting hot pot, or ‘Ora Punchers,’ who eagerly crave to fight passersby in a tournament.

“Some even define "Anomaly Hunters" as those who take commissions related to anomalies. All these people can see is that Anomaly Hunters are always running to their next commission. However, Appraiser, it's up to you to find your own definition as you spend more time at Eibon. One might say that the clients of this commission consist of everyone from Eibon.

“Listen to the voice within, and move at your own pace as you take it all in. The city, with your trust, will in time reward you with days that are vibrant, colorful, and worth remembering. Appraiser, wonderful encounters are waiting for you.”

Neverness to Everness releases on PS5, PC, Android, and iOS on 29 April.
