Amouranth, says that she ‘baited’ streaming rival Indiefoxx into a permanent Twitch ban.
2021 was a weird time in our lives. Not only was the COVID-19 pandemic reaping havoc, but hot tub streaming was a thing on Twitch, and apparently still is. Two Twitch streamers that capitalised on hot tub streaming were Indiefoxx and Amouranth.
Both streamers were vying to be the top hot tubbers on Twitch and perhaps in an attempt to take that inflatable crown, during an interview with Dexerto, Amouranth revealed how she baited Indiefoxx into a permanent Twitch ban. I guess you could say, Amouranth was thinking outside of the fox. Sorry (not sorry).

One of the other weird streaming phenomena of 2021 was mic licking. Yes, streamers would lick their mic for views. This was something that Twitch quickly put a stop to. At the time, both Indiefoxx and Amouranth were taking advantage of the mic-licking curiosities.
However, when Twitch started to ban that form of content, Amouranth took a step back, while Indiefoxx allegedly doubled down.
“What I found funny is we were doing similar content and towards the end of that drama, there was that ear-licking meta on the bed, all the girls were doing it,” said Amouranth.
I was one of the first to get banned and so was she, so I pulled back from it and started making more safe content, but she kept going and pushing boundaries,” she explained. “So, I pulled back in time, but because she didn’t, she got banned.”
“So I guess you could say I baited her into a ban, but I was just trying to pull back.”
Amouranth joked about “baiting” Indiefoxx, however, I wouldn't be surprised if that was still a strategic move by the popular streamer. Especially when she suspected that her Twitch rival might continue with the mic-licking antics.
In defence of Indiefoxx, she previously said during an episode of the No Jumper podcast, that her Twitch ban was due to a wardrobe malfunction. At the time of writing, Indiefoxx is still banned from Twitch, while Amouranth has over 6 million followers.
