
With just over a week until launch, Nintendo fans have spotted a way to pre-order Super Mario Galaxy 2 for the equivalent of £16.
It was very exciting news when it was revealed that Wii favourite Super Mario Galaxy 2 was coming back for the Switch 2 console, and now you can buy it for an absolute steal.

Due to be released on October 2, you can currently snag both Super Mario Galaxy and Super Mario Galaxy 2 in a bundle for £49.95 on Amazon (reduced from £79.99 for a limited time).

The games are selling separately for £33.99 each on the Nintendo e-store, so at £49.95 for both it's a big saving and means you can essentially pick up Super Mario Galaxy 2 for the equivalent of £16.
Super Mario Galaxy players face a race against time as Mario races to rescue Princess Peach and recover the stolen Power Stars from Bowser.
In Super Mario Galaxy 2, you'll blast back into space with Mario and Yoshi aboard Starship Mario and set out to 'discover more galaxies, more abilities and even more gravity-defying fun'.
Not only that, but the graphics have been improved and upgraded from the originals.

You can now marvel at the frankly massive Bowser in 4K resolution in TV mode or 1080p in Handheld and Tabletop mode.
Not only that, but they still work on the first Switch too, and a free upgrade is available to download for the Switch 2 for it to work on the newer console.

The Super Mario Galaxy remasters were announced during the Nintendo Direct event, and fans have been counting down to their release.
Not only that, but there's going to be a sequel to the smash-hit Super Mario Bros. Movie, so it's a good time to be a fan of the franchise.
Reviewers have been raving about these games for years, with the Metacritic website awarding both Super Mario Galaxy and Galaxy 2 a whopping 97 out of 100.
It earned them the 'Must-Play' award, and ranks them firmly in the chart for the all-time great games.

Based on sneak previews have seen already, they've been raving about the graphics enhancement.
"I think they’re replacing a lot of the textures with PBR materials which look better in better lighting. I noticed a lot of textures are not just higher quality but they seem to have more detail and actual catch light instead of being flat like on Wii," one fan wrote on X.
"I somehow missed playing Mario Galaxy 2 the first time around, so I’m looking forward to grabbing this collection!" added another.
"Definitely getting this!" swore one fan, "If you've never played this, you should too," they promised.

As well as the new graphics, the game will feature a new chapter of Rosalina's storybook, amiibo support as well as a new Assist Mode.
Nintendo have also redone the in-game text and map textures too, so there's a lot for fans to look forward to.
