A recent earnings call for Take-Two and Rockstar Games confirmed that the upcoming blockbuster, GTA VI, is still on target for a release in “Fall 2025.”
While the news is great, it hasn’t helped calm the hype around the game, and fans are now, more than ever, asking Rockstar Games for a second trailer for the game.

It has been over a year since the first trailer dropped for GTA VI, though many feel like Rose from that Titanic meme.
“So... Trailer 2 next month or what?” says one hopeful fan over on Reddit.

That would be awesome, or as the kids say ‘poggers,’ but at this point, it could still be a few months until we get a better look at the game.
One Redditor joked, using an ongoing meme, “We getting GTA 6 before trailer 2.”
It’s been said countless times, but GTA VI doesn’t really need much of a marketing campaign, the word of mouth is likely to be enough.
As will the long and storied history of the franchise.

This fan thinks that we’re still a couple of months away from a second trailer - “Rockstar usually ramps up marketing 6 months from release and the game is 8 months minimum away, so I think Trailer 2 should arrive soon, and we'll get the first gameplay showcase this summer.”
Some are still fearful the release date will slip with one fan saying, “It can still get delayed. I think if we don’t get anything by May it’s almost certainly going to get pushed to 2026.”
I have a feeling that we will get a new trailer once Spring arrives, and it will contain a firm release date.
With the sunny vibes of the first trailer, it would be great to kick off the better weather and longer days with a look at Vice City in the sun.
