PlayStation Plus subscribers can finally grab the free RPG they've been waiting for

PlayStation Plus subscribers can finally grab the free RPG they've been waiting for

One of the best RPGs is available to PS Plus subscribers

PlayStation Plus is the gift that keeps on giving (as long as you cough up the subscription fee) and it offers a plethora of fantastic video games at no extra cost to play at your disposal, including some RPG delights.

Of course, the higher the tier that you subscribe to, the more games that you’ll have to choose from with Sony’s PlayStation Plus service. While PS Plus Essential is pretty much the same tier before the 2022 revision, PS Plus Extra offers tons more PS5 and PS4 games to play at a whim.

However, with the top PlayStation Plus Premium tier, you’ll have everything that is included in PS Plus Essential and Extra, but with the bonus of select PS1, PS2, PS3 and PSP classics. What’s more, you’ll also have access to cloud streaming, trials, free movies and much more.

Yet, whether you subscribe to either PS Plus Extra or Premium, you’ll be able to play one of Bethesda's finest, namely Fallout 4. Recently, Fallout 4 benefited from its long-awaited free new-gen update but due to gremlins in the system, the free update was unplayable for some users.

Thankfully, those gremlins have been eradicated and the PlayStation 5 version of Fallout 4 is now available. Meaning, that you can choose to explore Bethesda’s post-apocalyptic wasteland with increased resolution and framerates, not to mention select mods from the Creation Club.

“As the sole survivor of Vault 111, only you can rebuild and determine the fate of the Wasteland. Join multiple factions vying for power or go it alone - the choices are yours,” reads the synopsis of Fallout 4. “From a Power Armor-toting soldier to the charismatic smooth-talker, be whoever you want with the S.P.E.C.I.A.L. character system and develop your own playstyle from hundreds of Perks.”

Fallout 4 is out now on PC, PlayStation and Xbox. It’s also available to Xbox Game Pass subscribers at no extra cost.
