Zoe Saldana started her career by landing a role in a 1999 episode of the US drama series, Law & Order, before being cast in Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl in 2003.
However, Saldana’s career changed course in a big way when she played Uhura in the 2009 Star Trek movie. This role was then followed up by goliath which was James Cameron’s Avatar. From that moment forth, Saldana would not only play the role of Gamora in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy in the MCU but also in Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame.
That being said, it’s the roles Saldana played in the two Avatar movies as well as Infinity War and Endgame that have made her the first actor to star in four movies that made more than $2 billion.
