YouTubers Schaffrillas Productions involved in fatal car crash in Pennsylvania

YouTubers Schaffrillas Productions were reportedly involved in a fatal car crash on Sunday 29 January in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania, leaving two dead and one victim in a critical condition.

As reported by local news outlet Lehigh Valley Live, James Phyrillas (the creator of Schaffrillas Productions) is currently in a critical condition following the accident. James’ brother Patrick Phyrillas (22) and friend Chris Schaffer (25) are believed to have both passed away in the crash. A coroner told Lehigh Valley Live that the crash took place at Hamilton Boulevard and Folk Road in Upper Macungie Township after a sedan collided with a commercial tractor-trailer.

The intersection is still under construction and therefore has no traffic signal. Both Patrick and Chris were reportedly pronounced dead at the crash site. Corner Daniel Buglio said the two men died from blunt force head injuries and their deaths were ruled as accidents.

Twitter account PerfectCutPoop, who works on the Schaffrillas Productions editing team, also relayed the news. They wrote, “Chris and Patrick have died, and James is in critical condition. Chris and Patrick were 25 and 22, and together they all formed the Schaffrillas name, leaving a major impact in the YTP, animation, and overall YouTube community. While James’ current condition is unknown, I ask that you all keep them and their loved ones in your hearts and thoughts, this has been incredibly heartbreaking for everyone involved. As of this time, on behalf of the Schaffrillas editing team, all current videos are on hold until we are absolutely sure of James’ condition.”

Schaffrillas Productions began as a series of film-based skits but the creators are now known for their YTPs and animated film reviews. GAMINGbible extends its thoughts and condolences to all those involved in the accident.
