Xbox Game Pass just keeps getting better. The subscription-based Microsoft service is already groaning under the weight of so many incredible exclusive titles, third-party games, and indies. But do you know what they've just gone and announced? The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.

That's right, one of the greatest open world RPGs of all time is coming to Game Pass on consoles. One of the greatest games of the decade - a game that I have dedicated my life to trying to get everyone to play - will be available to download on play on a service that costs £7.99 a month. That's with all the enhancements that the Xbox One X version of the game offers, no less. I picked the right time to invest in a 4K TV, I can tell you that much

We don't know exactly when we can expect The Witcher 3 to hit Game Pass yet, but Microsoft confirmed that the CD Projekt RED masterpiece would making its way to the service during the holiday period, so it'll presumably be in the next few weeks.

This welcome piece of news came as part of a massive announcement that detailed all of the games coming to Game Pass "beginning this holiday and throughout 2020."

Other games coming to the service in the next few weeks include Halo: Reach, My Friend Pedro, The Escapists 2, and Life Is Strange 2 Episodes 4 & 5. A bunch of titles are also being added today, which is pretty darn swell.

You can see all the new games coming to Game Pass on Xbox One and PC today below:

  • Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition (PC)
  • Age of Wonders: Planetfall (Console, coming soon to PC)
  • Hearts of Iron IV: Cadet Edition (PC)

There'll be plenty of titles to look forward to in 2020 too, including a ton of Final Fantasy games. Like... an actual ton. Deep breath, everyone... Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy VIII: Remastered, Final Fantasy IX, Final Fantasy X: HD Remastered, Final Fantasy X-2: HD Remastered, Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age, Final Fantasy XIII, Final Fantasy XIII-2 and Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII.

Other highlights coming to the service in 2020 include Tekken 7, Ori & The Will of The Wisps, Skatebird, Yazkuza 0, and Microsoft Flight Simulator. Basically, Xbox Game Pass continues to be pretty damn great.
