Last year, XBOX Game Pass restructured its subscription service and its gaming offerings shrunk, leaving us in the dark about what's next.
Prices shot up at every tier and Console was replaced by Standard, meaning almost 40 games were removed from Game Pass’ middle tier. But Xbox is continuing to add a handful of games back to Standard every month and this January, we have exciting things to look forward to.
In fact, three new titles are coming to Game Pass Ultimate and four games will be returning to Game Pass Standard.
It’s worth noting, Diablo is available on Ultimate and PC only. Meanwhile, UFC 5 is only available as a PC game via Game Pass Ultimate.

But that’s not all. Four games that are currently available on Ultimate and/or PC tiers are also coming (and returning) to Standard this month.

My Time at Sandrock, Rolling Hills, and Robin Hood: Sherwood Builders were initially available on the Console tier.
When Standard was introduced, they scooted up to the Ultimate tier, and have now found a home on the middle subscription level.
So, what's on for next month? The only game confirmed so far is Avowed, which will drop on February 18. It's the first release from Xbox Game Studios of 2025 and is from the studio behind Grounded and The Outer Worlds.
