Disney has released a brand new trailer for a new season of a popular Star Wars animated series that arrives next month on the most perfect day.

While Star Wars live-action productions have been hit and miss in recent years, at least for the most part, its animated productions have been well-received, with Star Wars: The Bad Batch and Star Wars: Visions leading the charge.

Check out the trailer for Star Wars: Tales of the Underworld below!

One of the other most appreciated animated series began with Tales of the Jedi in 2022, followed by Tales of the Empire in 2024 and now we’re entering the third season, Tales of the Underworld and fans are hyped, to say the least.

“Enter the galaxy’s dangerous underworld in this six-episode journey through the experiences of two iconic villains,” reads the synopsis of the series created by Dave Filoni.

“Former assassin and bounty hunter Asajj Ventress is given a new chance at life and must go on the run with an unexpected new ally, while outlaw Cad Bane faces his past when he confronts an old friend, now a Marshal on the opposite side of the law.”

As hyped as fans are to see Cad Bane and Asajj Ventress battle it out, many are hoping that at least one of those episodes or perhaps even a future season will star the infamous General Grievous.

“Now we need Tales of the Sith with Palpatine and Maul, Tales of the Separatists with Grievous and Trench, and Tales of the Republic with Tarkin and Wulff Yularen,” suggested sethlangston181 in a comments section on YouTube.

“If they're giving us Bane's backstory then Grievous’ better not be far behind,” said Watcherobot.
