Star Wars fans lose it as character we’ve waited decades to see makes live-action debut

Watching them leave from a hidey hole cave was none other than Darth Plagueis. Yes, that Darth Plagueis, the wise one that Palpatine tells Anakin about. This is the first canon appearance of the character and fans are going wild.

Suitably excited is Echo SillyGoose Domino on Twitter who said, “Y’ALL PLAGUEIS PROBABLY LEARNED HOW TO CREATE LIFE THROUGH WHAT HAPPENED WITH MAE AND OSHA HOLY S**TTTTT.”

Twitter user Sabrina carried on the hype with, “INSANE that years after this scene we FINALLY got to see Darth Plagueis in live action in #TheAcolyte”

Again, on Twitter, someone plotted out the Plagueis appearance as it should be, “If I’m being very honest, “Darth Plagueis got the idea for manipulating midichlorians from a secret, exile coven of lesbian space witches” sounds like a pretty standard old Expanded Universe deep lore plot point.”

M Mo was just super excited about the finale, “The Acolyte Finale was great! We finally got to see Darth Plagueis!!”

One user with the brilliant name Qimir’s PR Agent posted a photo of Qimir and Osha with the caption, “Have you heard the tale of darth plagueis the wise’s hot roommates?”

The general reception of the Sith lord making an appearance is great and millions of fans are ready to see where we go next.
